Rally Memorial of Kulig and Bublewicz is a rally show, which was first started in 2007 and since then takes place in Wieliczka near Cracow. The event is held to commemorate two outstanding Polish rally drivers Janusz Kulig and Marian Bublewicz, both tragically deceased in car accidents. Marian Bublewicz won the Polish Rally Championship 20 times in plenty of categories, he was also runner up in European rally championships in 1992. Janusz Kulig, three times Polish champion was also known on European scene, taking runner up position in 2002.

We had a privilege to enter 2018 competition with Fabia Evolve driven by one of the most talented Polish racing drivers – Mateusz Lisowski. Mateusz who was born in Wieliczka and from early years was one of the biggest fans of Janusz Kulig. While having won several racing series, including FIA Blancpain GT series, he is not regular guest in a rally car, but he never drops opportunity to race around his home town.

So take a right seat in Fabia Evolve and enjoy the ride 🙂

We wouldn’t appear at the event without our partners. We’d like to thanks Olimp Sport Nutrition for making this possible. During the event we were driving a few sets of completly new models of  Extreme Perfomance Tyres, which we will cover in details soon.

Fabia EVOLVE is the perfect example of rally car design for Open N / NR4 class. It’s built around modern Fabia chassis, which looks similar to the current R5 car. It is equipped with Subaru engine, drivetrain and Subaru N/R4 group components, with several improvements over typical N group design. Fabia Evolve uses modern BorgWarner turbo with fresh-air antilag well known from WRC as well as improved electronics. It’s also much lighter than N group car. It weights 1260kg, when ready to drive.
